UW shows it belongs among nation's elite
The unfamiliar sight of the Wisconsin men's basketball team in the top 10 of the nation's polls made some wonder if the Badgers, a 19-12 team a year ago, were really one of the elite.
Anyone still unsure of the answer should take a second look at Wisconsin's 89-75 victory over second-ranked Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon, in front of a raucous crowd of 17,190 at the Kohl Center and a nationwide cable audience.
Alando Tucker had 32 points and ten rebounds. Appleton native Brian Butch added 27 points and 11 rebounds.
