After looking at the box score for yesterday’s 4-16 blowout against the Cubs, I figured heads would start rolling, but I didn’t quite anticipate it happening so soon. Still, with only one split-squad game left on the schedule, I suppose it’s about time. The Mariners have optioned LHP Ryan Feierabend and RHP Cha Seung Baek to Tacoma, while re-assigning RHP Renee Cortez to the minor league camp.
