WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 31-40 overall; 0-1 second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 9-7 to Mississippi. Rene Rivera (WI ’03) homered and knocked in three runs to help West Tennessee build a 7-4 lead. But, the Braves scored four in the eighth and one in the ninth to win the second half opener.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 31-39 overall; 0-0 second half California League South Division): The Mavericks were off on Monday.
