Opening Day for Everett

The Everett Herald has this on the Sox:

Frogs all set for opener
AquaSox manager Mike Tosar says he believes his team has the talent to make a run at a division title

The Seattle Times has these:

AquaSox Opener Making some noise

EVERETT — If you hear a voice that sounds like Dave Niehaus coming from the Everett AquaSox bullpen, don't worry. The relief pitchers aren't listening to a Seattle Mariners game.

It's only pitcher Brandon McKerney honing his play-by-play skills.

The former Meadowdale High and University of Washington pitcher hopes to be a broadcaster when he's finished with his playing career, which begins tonight when the AquaSox open their Northwest League season against the Yakima Bears.

Quick message for Pat Dillon, the Sox broadcaster...Look out, Pat. You might have some competition. Also, don't teach him too well. He might come gunning for the Wisconsin job next year.
