Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of September 4, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 65-69; 3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 3-2 to San Francisco. Milwaukee scored twice in the first inning and allowed just four hits. But, the Giants scored two unearned runs in the sixth inning to tie the game and a run in the eighth for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 73-68; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 4-3 at New Orleans. Nashville trailed 4-0 and scored three times in the top of the seventh, but they could not score again.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 63-72 overall, 25-41 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 3-1 to Jacksonville. The Stars had a 1-0 lead after scoring a run in the second. But, the Suns scored a run in the fifth and two in the sixth.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 78-47 overall, 38-23 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees had their game with Tampa rained out.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 28-40; 8-22 second half; 4th Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost a pair of games to Billings. Helena lost 8-4 in the completion of a suspended game from August 8. The Mustangs won game two 8-5 in 10 innings.
