Saturday in the MWL

Wisconsin 8, @Kane County 6 -- I think this story gets better when you read it he next day, even if it is kind of short.

@South Bend 4, Dayton 2 -- Hawks score three in the eighth and 7'-1" Ryan Doherty is 4-0 for South Bend. Oddly, a guy named Trey delivers a three-run double for the three run eighth.

Lansing 10, @Fort Wayne 4 -- The Lugnuts continue to beat up on the Wizards. Who knew that small pieces of metal could not be affected by powerful mages? Steve Warden, the Wizard beat writer, is having some weird thoughts about what should be done to the Lansing bats.

West Michigan 7, @Southwest Michigan 1 -- Whitecaps roll over the Devil Rays.

Peoria 6, @Clinton 4 -- Chiefs actually hold a lead against the L-Kings. Ed Campusano gets save number fifteen on the season.

@Beloit 4, Burlington 3 -- Edward Ovalle is the hero. Game-winning, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth. Snappers scored three in the ninth. Second time the Bees have lost like this in a week.

@Quad Cities 4, Cedar Rapids 0 -- The SWING got some pitching. Kyle Sadlowski gave up two hits over eight innings to beat the Kernels.
