Dayton 3, @South Bend 2 -- Johnny Cueto stays on a roll for Dayton by allowing two hits over seven scoreless innings. South Bend made it close with a late homer, but not close enough.
@Southwest Michigan 5, West Michigan 4 -- Devil Ray pitcher Mike Wlodarczyk's scoreless streak ended at 49 innings. The Devil Rays squeaked out a run in the eighth for the win.
@Clinton 4, Peoria 3 -- Clinton scored four in the eighth and the Chiefs are 1-1/2 games behind the Cougars.
Lansing 5, @Fort Wayne 3 -- Fort Wayne scored three in the ninth. It was not enough.
Burlington 4, @Beloit 2 -- Can anyone stop the Bees? Not the Snappers.
@Quad Cities 1, Cedar Rapids 0 -- The SWING get one run and make it stand up. Kernel pitcher Nick Adenhart (7-1) tastes bitter defeat for the first time this season.
