Seattle (MAJ: 17-22; 3rd AL West): Seattle was off Monday.
Tacoma (AAA – 19-17; 3rd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma lost 1-0 to Albuquerque. Cesar Jimenez (WI ’03) gave up one run on seven hits over six innings, but got the loss. The offense managed just four hits off Isotope starter Nic Ungs, who went all nine innings.
San Antonio (AA – 13-21; 4th Texas League South Division): The Missions lost 5-3 to Frisco. Brandon Moorhead (WI ’04) took the loss by allowing four runs over 4-1/3 innings for San Antonio. Jon Nelson (WI ’03) homered and drove in a pair of runs for the Missions. John Danks struck out twelve Missions in the win.
Inland Empire (High-A – 21-16; T-1st California League South Division): The 66ers lost 8-7 at Lake Elsinore. Josh Womack (WI ’05), Yung Chi Chen (WI ’05), and Marshall Hubbard (WI ’05) all had three hits for Inland Empire. Womack homered for the 66ers. BUt, Lake Elsinore
