Mariner System Report (Games of 5/29)

Seattle (MAJ: 22-31; T-3rd AL West): The Mariners lost 2-0 at Texas. Seattle managed just four hits. Jarrod Washburn gave up two runs on six hits over seven innings and took the loss.

Tacoma (AAA – 25-24; 3rd PCL Pacific Northern Division):
Tacoma beat Colorado Springs 1-0. Greg Dobbs (WI ’02) drove in Chris Snelling (WI ’00) with a double in the bottom of the fourth inning for the only run of the game. Francisco Cruceta pitched eight shutout innings allowing just two hits and struck out eleven for the win. Emiliano Fruto (WI ’02) pitched a scoreless ninth for his seventh save.

San Antonio (AA – 18-30; 4th Texas League South Division):
San Antonio lost 1-0 to Tulsa. The Mission offense had three hits. Ryan Feierabend (WI ’02) pitched two scoreless innings as the starting pitcher, but left after taking a grounder off his forearm. Reliever Chad Fillinger (WI ’05) gave up a run in the sixth inning to take the loss.

Inland Empire (High-A – 31-19; 1st California League South Division): Inland Empire was off on Monday.
