Mariner System Report (Games of 5/25)

Seattle (MAJ: 22-27; 3rd AL West): The Mariners lost 2-0 to Baltimore. Gil Meche (WI ’98) gave up two runs on four hits and struck out ten, but took the loss. The Mariner offense managed just two hits in the game.

Tacoma (AAA – 22-23; 3rd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma lost 4-1 at Memphis. Bobby Livingston (WI ’03) gave up three solo home runs and got the loss. Hunter Brown (WI ’02) drove in the only run for the Rainiers.

San Antonio (AA – 18-26; 4th Texas League South Division):
The Missions beat Wichita 1-0. Luis Oliveros (WI ’02) had an RBI double in the second inning for the Missions. That double was the only hit of the game for San Antonio. Brandon Moorhead (WI ’04) pitched six shutout innings for the win.

Inland Empire (High-A – 28-19; 1st California League South Division): Inland Empire beat Lake Elsinore 5-3. Shawn Nottingham (WI ’05) got the win. Eric O’Flaherty (WI ’05) pitched the final two innings for his first save of the season. Brent Johnson (WI ’05) had a pair of hits and scored a run. Matt Tuiasosopo (WI ’05) drove in a run for the 66ers in their sixth straight win.
