Brewers System Report: Games of August 17, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 56-64; National League Central): The Brewers beat the Cardinals 3-2 in St. Louis. Casey McGehee homered and drove in a pair of runs. Dave Bush allowed a run on four hits over six innings for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 64-59; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds beat Colorado Springs 7-5. Brendan Katin and Martin Maldonado (’09); each homered for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 60-61 overall; 27-24 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars were off on Tuesday.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 57-64; 30-22 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 7-5 to Dunedin. The Blue Jays broke a 5-5 tie with a pair of runs in the top of the eighth inning.

HELENA (Rookie: 27-26 overall; 8-7 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 11-10 to Casper in eleven innings.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 29-16; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers had their game with the Indians suspended in the top of the fifth inning with the score tied 1-1.
