The Twins, from top to bottom, are a first rate organization and we are proud to continue our affiliation with them."It has been a good relationship. The Snappers have made the playoffs three times and the MWL Championship series once since becoming a Minnesota affiliate.
The Snappers and Twins last extended their PDC on August 14, 2007, which runs through the 2010 season. Today's agreement extends the contract for an additional two years, through the 2012 season.

The starting pitcher for the Twins in Game One of their series against the Yankees tonight is Brian Duensing, a Snapper from the 2006 season. Jose Mijares and Jeff Manship were also Snappers.
Alexi Casilla, the guy with the game winning hit in the 12th inning last night? He was in Cedar Rapids in 2004 and 2005.
