HUNTSVILLE (AA: 30-37; Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Montgomery 13-4. Brett Lawrie (’09) was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI for Huntsville. Steffan Wilson hit a pair of homers and drove in five runs for the Stars.
BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 24-40 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees split a doubleheader at Lakeland. Brock Kjeldgaard (’09) homered and knocked in three runs in a 5-2 Brevard County in game one. The Flying Tigers held the Manatees to a pair of Sean Halton (’10) hits to beat Brevard County 1-0 in game two.
