The first place Foxes took on the second place Soos at Goodland Field. They also took on Diego Segui.

Segui, a future major leaguer, had already beaten the Foxes three times during the 1960 season. He made it four wins over Fox Cities with a complete game 5-hit shutout. Segui ran his scoreless streak against the Foxes to 21 innings.

Bob Saverine did have one of the hits to run his hitting streak to 10 games.

The Foxes are 66-41. They are still in first place in the Three-I League, but their lead over the Soos is down to 5.5 games.
