Brewers System Report: Games of August 2, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 49-58; National League Central): The Brewers won 18-1 over the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Prince Fielder had five hits and drove in five hits. Ryan Braun also had five hits and Milwaukee collected 26 hits as a team.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 58-51; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds beat Round Rock 5-1. Martin Maldonado (’09) went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs and a home run for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 54-53 overall; 21-16 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Carolina 5-3 in 13 innings. Taylor Green (’09) hit a game ending home run in the bottom of the thirteenth. Drew Anderson hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to tie the game.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 50-56; 23-14 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Jupiter 5-3. Brevard County scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally for the win.

HELENA (Rookie: 21-20 overall; 2-1 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Billings 9-3.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 22-12; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers lost 4-2 to the Giants.
