MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 50-59; National League Central): The Brewers lost 15-3 to the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Chicago scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to erase a 3-1 Milwaukee lead.
NASHVILLE (AAA: 59-52; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds lost 12-1 at Reno. The Aces scored six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 55-54 overall; 22-17 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 10-9 in 10 innings to Carolina. Taylor Green (’09) hit a grand slam as part of a 7-run sixth inning to help Huntsville tie the game 8-8. The Mudcats scored two runs in the top of the tenth and held off the Stars in the bottom of the tenth.
BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 51-57; 24-15 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Bradenton 5-4. Cody Scarpetta (’09) pitched five scoreless innings and Josh Prince (’09) scored three runs for Brevard County.
HELENA (Rookie: 21-22 overall; 2-3 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 1-0 at Billings. Evan Frederickson (’09) pitched six no-hit innings with 12 strikeouts for Helena. The Mustangs had one hit in the game and it drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 23-12; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Athletics 9-1.
