NASHVILLE (AAA: 62-58; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds lost 9-4 to Salt Lake. The Bees put the game away with a four run seventh inning.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 58-60 overall; 25-23 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars split a doubleheader with West Tennessee. The Diamond Jaxx won game one 4-1 behind homers by Carlos Peguero (’08) and Carlos Triunfel (’07). Huntsville won game two 4-3. Jeremy Jeffress (’10) pitched a scoreless seventh for the save.
BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 55-62; 28-20 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Lakeland 5-4. Brevard County scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to erase a 4-2 deficit. Brock Kjeldgaard (’09) had three hits and drove in two runs for the Manatees.
HELENA (Rookie: 26-25 overall; 7-6 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Missoula 5-4. Helena scored five runs in the seventh inning.
AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 27-16; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers lost 8-4 to the Angels.
