Mariner farmhand Brandon Morrow started for Lara and went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks with four strikeouts for a no decision.
Asdrubal Cabrera ('05) played for Caracas and was 1-for-3 with a three-run homer off Morrow in the fifth inning.
Lara's Sunday game was postponed along with every other scheduled game in the Liga. The scoreboard gives the reason as other. I'm guessing it is because of the election in Venezuela.
