SEATTLE (MAJ: 46-77 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 11-8 at Minnesota. Ryan Feierabend (’04) allowed six runs on 10 hits over three innings to take the loss. Raul Ibanez (Foxes, ’94) went 5-for-5 and Wladimir Balentien (’04) homered for Seattle.
TACOMA (AAA: 68-60, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 4-3 at Sacramento. Jon Nelson (’03) hit one of three solo homers for Tacoma. The Rainiers had a 3-2 lead, but the River Cats got a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to win.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 64-60, 22-30 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx were off on Sunday.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 53-73, 21-35 second half 5th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 7-2 at Lancaster. Jake Wild allowed five runs on five hits over two innings for the loss. High Desert has lost eight straight.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 27-33, 3rd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox beat Eugene 7-5. Everett scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth, including a game-ending, two-run home run by Tyson Gillies.
PULASKI (Rookie: 36-22, 1st Appalachian League East Division): The M’s were off on Sunday.
PEORIA (Rookie: 17-28, 8-10 6th Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 13-1 to the Cubs.
