SEATTLE (MAJ: 46-81 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 2-0 to Oakland. Ryan Rowland-Smith (’03) allowed one run on four hits over seven innings for Seattle, but took the loss.
TACOMA (AAA: 69-62, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers were leading 9-2 at Portland in the bottom of the seventh inning. But, two power outages at Pacific Gas & Electric Park forced a suspension.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 66-62, 24-32 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 6-5 at Mobile. Mike Wilson (’05) and Johan Limonta (’06) each had two RBI, but West Tennessee could not hold a late lead.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 54-76, 22-38 second half 5th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 5-2 to Visalia. Jamie McOwen (’07) had three hits for High Desert, but the Mavs lost for the 11th time in their last 12 games.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 27-36, 3rd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox lost 6-5 to Salem-Keizer. The Volcanoes scored twice in the seventh and twice in the eighth to rally for the win at Everett.
PULASKI (Rookie: 37-25, 1st Appalachian League East Division): The M’s lost 6-5 to Burlington. The Royals scored five times in the top of the ninth to keep Pulaski from clinching their division.
PEORIA (Rookie: 18-30, 9-12 6th Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 9-5 to the Padres.
