Tenuous Timber Rattler Tie-in: Greg Dobbs, who played for the Timber Rattlers in 2002, was injured in a game on September 21. He homered in his first major league at bat as a member of the Seattle Mariners. Dobbs hit .302 with nine homers and 40 RBI -- mainly as a pinch-hitter.
