Complete scoreboard
Cedar Rapids 4 @ Wisconsin 1: Tyler Chatwood is kryptonite to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
@South Bend 4, Great Lakes 1: Ryan Cook pitched eight innings of one-run ball, earning his fifth straight win
@Dayton 5, West Michigan 3: Dragons version | Whitecaps version
@Fort Wayne 8, Lansing 6: Doug Dascenzo followed Randy Ready as Fort Wayne’s manager. Now he has followed Ready to the top of the franchise wins list.
Burlington 5 @Quad Cities 3: This back-and-forth thing between the Quad-Cities River Bandits and Burlington, long-term, is going to be hazardous to the Bandits' playoff health. Friday night, the Bees evened things at a game apiece for the series and 7-7 for the season with a 5-3 win. Burlington rode a two-run home run by Nick Francis in the sixth and bad-hop triple and eventual score by Patrick Norris in the seventh to the victory in front of a crowd of 4,291 at Modern Woodmen Park.
@Peoria 7, Clinton 3: "It could have been worse. We could have lost,” Chiefs manager Marty Pevey said. “Sure we had some poor at bats and wish we could have swung the bats better with runners in scoring position, but a win’s a win.”
@Beloit 9, Kane County 6: What looked like a heartbreaking loss turned into exhilaration for the Beloit Snappers on Friday night at Pohlman Field. After losing a 5-1 lead in the top of the eighth inning, the Snappers responded in a big way in the bottom half of the inning.
