Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of August 22, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 60-62; 4th National League Central): The Brewers beat the Nationals 11-9. Mike Cameron drove in four runs and Chris Narveson got the win in relief after the Brewers let a 7-0 lead get away.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 65-63; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 8-4 at Albuquerque. Adam Heether went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 59-65 overall, 21-34 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 11-3 to Montgomery. The Biscuits put the game away with a five run seventh inning.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 71-42 overall, 31-18 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 5-2 to Daytona. Josh Vitters, a former Peoria Chief, broke a 2-2 tie with a three-run homer in the seventh inning.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 25-31; 5-13 second half; 4th Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 2-0 to Orem. The Owlz held Helena to two hits.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 22-28; 10-12 second half; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers were off on Saturday.
