Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of August 21, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 59-62; 4th National League Central): The Brewers won 7-3 at Washington. Prince Fielder homered and drove in two runs. Braden Looper allowed two runs over six innings for his eleventh win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 65-62; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 7-5 to Sacramento. Nashville trailed 6-5 and scored five times in the bottom of the seventh. But, the River Cats held on for the win.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 59-64 overall, 21-33 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars split a doubleheader with West Tennessee. Huntsville won game one 1-0. The Diamond Jaxx won game two 3-0.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 71-41 overall, 31-17 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Daytona 6-1. Evan Anundsen won his ninth game of the year for Brevard County.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 25-30; 5-12 second half; 4th Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers split a doubleheader with Orem. The Owlz won their fifteenth straight game with a 9-8 win in eight innings in game one. Helena won game two 4-3.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 22-28; 10-12 second half; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 8-1to the Angels.
