Milwaukee Brewers Report: games of August 26, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 61-65; T-3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 4-3 in 10 innings to the Reds. Jody Gerut and Prince Fielder homered in a three-run fifth inning to give Milwaukee a 3-2 lead. But, the Reds rallied to tie the game in the eighth and win it in the tenth.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 68-63; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds were suspended 5-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning at Round Rock.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 62-66 overall, 24-35 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Montgomery 9-7. Huntsville scored seven runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally from a 6-2 deficit.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 73-44 overall, 33-20 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Clearwater 14-3. Logan Schafer drove in five runs, including a grand slam during an eight run fifth inning, for Brevard County.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 26-33; 6-15 second half; 4th Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 6-5 to Billings.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 25-29; 13-13 second half; 3rd Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 8-6 to the Angels.
