Behind yet another brilliant outing by Loons’ pitchers, Great Lakes shut out the South Bend SilverHawks 6-0 to clinch the first playoff berth in franchise history.
Following the final out in the top of the ninth, the Loons celebrated in style — with a victory lap around the infield, playoff T-shirts, plenty of champagne, and even a new hair style for their skipper.
