Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of August 20, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 58-62; 4th National League Central): The Brewers were off on Thursday.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 65-61; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 6-1 to Sacramento. Jeff Suppan gave up five runs in a rehab start for Nashville and took the loss.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 58-63 overall, 20-32 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars had their game with West Tennessee rained out.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 70-41 overall, 30-17 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Daytona 10-2. Michael Bowman (’09) pitched six innings, allowed two runs on four hits and struck out five for the win.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 24-29; 4-11 second half; 4th Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 11-5 to Orem. The Owlz have won 14 straight games.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 22-27; 10-11 second half; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 4-2 to the Giants.
