Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of August 30, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 64-66; 3rd National League Central): The Brewers beat Pittsburgh 4-1. Milwaukee broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the fifth inning. Jeff Suppan allowed eight hits and one run for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 71-65; T-2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Round Rock 7-3. Nashville scored six runs in the fourth inning to rally from an early 2-0 deficit.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 63-67 overall, 25-36 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars were rained out in Birmingham. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader tonight.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 76-46 overall, 36-22 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 7-2 at Tampa.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 27-36; 7-18 second half; T-3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 9-2 at Great Falls.
