Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of August 27, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 61-66; 4th National League Central): The Brewers lost 8-5 to the Reds. Prince Fielder hit a three-run home run as part of a four run first inning, but the Brewers could not hold the 4-0 lead.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 68-65; T-2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost a pair of games at Round Rock. The Express won the conclusion of a game suspended on Wednesday night by a score of 6-4. Round Rock beat Nashville 2-1 in the second game.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 62-66 overall, 24-35 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars were off on Thursday.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 74-44 overall, 34-20 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Clearwater 7-2. Evan Anundsen tossed six shutout innings for his tenth win of the season.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 27-33; 7-15 second half; T-3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Billings 11-3. Helena led 6-0 after the bottom of the third inning.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 25-29; 13-13 second half; 3rd Arizona League East Division): The Brewers were off on Thursday.
