MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 25-35; National League Central): The Brewers beat the Cubs 5-4 in ten innings. Corey Hart hit his 16th home run of the season for Milwaukee. Carlos Gomez dashed around the bases from first base on a Craig Counsell bunt in the bottom of the tenth to score the winning run.
NASHVILLE (AAA: 33-26; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 6-4 in ten innings at Omaha. Brendan Katin hit a two run homer in the top of the tenth.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 28-33; Southern League North Division): The Stars won 5-3 at Carolina. Huntsville scored four runs in the top of the first inning.
BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 23-36 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees won 12-8 at Daytona. Brevard County scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning. Sean Halton (’10) went 2-for-5 with three runs, a homer, and five RBI.
