MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 22-31; National League Central): The Brewers beat Florida 7-4. Yovani Gallardo, George Kottaras, and Prince Fielder homered for Milwaukee. Gallardo also pitched seven innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits for his sixth win of the season.
NASHVILLE (AAA: 31-21; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Albuquerque 6-2. Adam Heether hit a pair of home runs for the Sounds.
HUNTSVILLE (AA: 25-28; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 5-4 to Mobile. Mat Gamel and Zelous Wheeler hit back-to-back home runs in the game for Huntsville. Dan Merklinger (’09) made his Double-A debut, committed three errors, allowed four unearned runs, and took the loss.
BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 19-33 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 3-0 at Jupiter. Brevard County had three hits in the game.
