The Foxes were up 7-3, but Des Moines scored three in the seventh, tied the game with a run on an error in the bottom of the ninth, and won the game with a run on another error in the bottom of the thirteenth. The win was the tenth straight for the Demons.
Pete Ward was 4-for-6 with three RBI for Fox Cities.
Fox Cities is 20-16 after this loss. They are in second place .5 games behind Cedar Rapids in the Three-I League.

Kent Torve caught the Wausau Timbers by surprise Monday night.Well, plus the fact that the Foxes are now 40-17.
He laid down a perfect suicide squeeze bunt with 2 strikes on him in the bottom of the ninth inning to bring home the winning run as the Appleton Foxes pulled out a 4-3 victory at Goodland Field.
It was the fourth straight win for the Midwest League Northern Division leaders and their eighth in 9 games. The Foxes increased their lead over Madison, which lost, 3-2, to Kenosha in 15 innings.
