Quotes from the June 4 Post-Crescent:
Sal Rende, Foxes’ manager: Our hitting is starting to come around. We’ve had outstanding pitching the last month, but now we’re starting to make contact.
Jim Nettles, Muskies’ manager: We’ll need help and quickly. We haven’t been hitting the ball very well.
The Foxes are 34-16 after this win and moved back to 3.5 games in front of the Muskies in the Northern Division of the Midwest League.
