Brewers System Report: Games of July 18, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 42-51; National League Central): The Brewers lost 11-6 at Atlanta. Rickie Weeks hit a pair of home runs; Prince Fielder hit his 22nd homer of the season, and Lorenzo Cain (’09) went 2-for-2. But, Manny Parra allowed 10 runs over 5-1/3 innings.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 51-43; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds beat Omaha 8-2. Brendan Katin went 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 46-48 overall; 13-11 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 7-6 at home to West Tennessee. The Diamond Jaxx scored six runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat Huntsville.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 40-52; 13-10 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 2-0 at Palm Beach. Brevard County had three hits in the game.

HELENA (Rookie: 14-13; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Orem 8-1. Hiram Burgos (’09) allowed a run on four hits and struck out eight over eight innings.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 16-7; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers lost 8-5 to the Royals.
