Brewers System Report: Games of July 27, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 48-54; National League Central):
The Brewers lost 12-4 to the Reds at Miller Park. Yovani Gallardo homered for Milwaukee but allowed six runs on ten hits over 2-2/3 innings. Cincinnati collected 19 hits in the game.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 56-47; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds beat Omaha 16-2. Mat Gamel drove in four runs for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 49-52 overall; 16-15 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars were off on Tuesday.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 46-54; 19-12 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat St. Lucie 2-0. Three Brevard County pitchers combined on a 5-hit shutout. Sean McCraw drove in one of the two runs for the Manatees.

HELENA (Rookie: 18-18; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers won 6-3 at Orem. Helena scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally for the win. Tony Butler (’07) pitched a scoreless inning in relief for the victory.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 20-10; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers lost 14-0 to the Reds.
