Dean Chance with a 10-inning complete game. He scattered 10 hits, walked two, and struck out seven.

Photi Anthony drove in both runs for the Foxes. One in the first inning and the other in the tenth.

Fox Cities moved their record to 48-30. They are in first place and lead Sioux City in the Three-I League by seven games.

Rough night for the Foxes.
  1. Keith Silver pitched a complete game five-hit shutout for the Giants
  2. Outfielder Darrell Pruitt lost for the season due to season season ending shoulder surgery
  3. First Baseman Tom Forrester returned home to New Jersey to deal with a family illness
  4. Groundskeeper Doug Lopas accepted a job to be take care of the fields at the Houston Astros spring training facility in Kissimmee, Florida
On a positive note:
  • Karen Lukevics, wife of Foxes Pitching Coach Mitch Lukevic, gave birth to a 7-pound, 15-ounce baby girl at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.  The baby girl was named Megan Anne.
The Foxes record is at 57-34.  They are still in first place in the Northern Division of the Midwest League.  Appleton's lead over Madison is 10-1/2 games.
