50 Years Ago Today:

Chuck Symeon pitched a complete game, struck out 11, walked one, AND drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.  BUT, he took the loss in the first game at Goodland Field for the Foxes since an 11 game road trip to Lincoln, Topeka, and Sioux City ended on July 18.

The Foxes are 48-31 and are in first place in the Three-I League.  Fox Cities leads Sioux City by six games.
