In game one, Chuck Symeon struck out ten and allowed three hits for the win.

In game two, Elliott Coleman made his Foxes debut to take the place of just promoted Pat Gillick.  He went 8-2/3 innings and allowed a run.  Coleman walked seven, struck out four, and drove in a pair of runs with a single in the eighth.

The Foxes are 61-40 and lead the Three-I League by 4-1/2 games.

John L. Paustian's lede:
The pennant-hungry Fox Cities Foxes continue to find their steady diet of doubleheaders rich in Vitamin V (Victory).  31 of 61 victories are in doubleheaders to this point.

The only run the Foxes needed in game one was on a Tom Forrester RBI double in the first inning.  Tony Menendez and Dave White combined on the four-hit shutout.

Game two did not go as well. 

The Foxes are 71-39 on the season.  They have a 13-1/2 game lead on Kenosha in the Northern Division of the Midwest League.
