August 4, 2010: Game Notes

ABOUT LAST NIGHT: The Timber Rattlers beat the Peoria Chiefs 5-1. Maverick Lasker pitched seven innings and allowed one unearned run on three hits for his seventh win of the season. Chris Dennis doubled twice and drove in three runs to lead the offense.

MY SACRIFICE: Kentrail Davis drove in a pair of runs with a pair of sacrifice flies last night. He gave the Rattlers a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning with his first sacrifice fly. The second sacrifice fly by Davis came in the bottom of the third and broke a 1-1 tie.

HEY, ABBOTT! Matt Costello worked two perfect innings for his first save with the Timber Rattlers.
