Brewers System Report: Games of August 11, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 53-62; National League Central): The Brewers lost 8-2 to Arizona. Prince Fielder and Casey McGehee hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the second. But, the Diamondbacks hit four straight homers off Dave Bush in the fourth inning and pulled away for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 62-56; Pacific Coast League American Northern Division): The Sounds won 6-4 at Las Vegas. Nashville scored three runs in the ninth inning to rally from a 4-3 deficit.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 57-59 overall; 24-22 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 2-0 at Tennessee. Wily Peralta allowed two unearned run on four hits over seven inning to take the loss. The Smokies swept the five game series from Huntsville.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 54-60; 27-18 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees were off on Wednesday.

HELENA (Rookie: 24-24 overall; 5-5 second half; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Missoula 6-4. Franklin Romero (’10) hit a two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning to put Helena up 5-4.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 26-15; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Cubs 14-4.
