Mariner System Report (Games of 9/6)

Seattle (MAJ: 66-73; 4th AL West): Seattle beat Detroit 5-4 in ten innings. Former Appleton Fox Raul Ibanez had two hits, scored two runs, and drove in two runs. Jon Huber earned his first major league win with a scoreless bottom of the ninth after an over three hour rain delay. JJ Putz (WI '00) pitched a scoreless ninth for save number 31.

Everett (Short Season-A – 31-45; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox beat Vancouver 5-0. Oak Creek, Wisconsin native Tony Butler pitched seven shutout innings and allowed one hit with one walk and nine strikeouts for the win. Kevin Reynolds (WI' 06) went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, a run scored, and an RBI for the Sox in their final game of the season.
