SEATTLE (MAJ: 45-74 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 7-3 at Anaheim. Seattle led 3-0 after scoring three runs in the third. The Angels rallied with four runs in the fifth and three in the eighth for the win.
TACOMA (AAA: 65-58, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers beat Las Vegas 7-6. Tacoma scored four times in the bottom of the ninth inning for the win. Luis Oliveros (’02) went 4-for-4 with a home run. Oswaldo Navarro (’05) drew a bases loaded walk to force in the winning run.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 62-58, 21-29 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 3-0 to Carolina. West Tennessee managed just three hits in the game. Joe Woerman (’06) allowed three runs on six hits over seven innings for the loss.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 53-68, 21-30 second half 5th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 9-2 to Lake Elsinore. Jake Wild (’08) allowed five runs on nine hits over five innings for the loss.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 25-30, 3rd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox beat Yakima 4-3. Everett scored the winning run in the top of the ninth inning on a suicide squeeze.
PULASKI (Rookie: 33-21, 1st Appalachian League East Division): The M’s lost 2-0 to Bluefield.
PEORIA (Rookie: 16-26, 7-7 T-4th Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 11-0 to the Giants.
