The Peoria Chiefs in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs have announced that RHP Jon Lieber will make a rehab start for the Chiefs against the Burlington Bees on Tuesday, August 5 at 7:00 pm. Lieber has been on the disabled list since July 11 with a strained right foot. A seven-time Opening Day starter, Lieber is expected to start and throw three innings for the Chiefs on Tuesday after tossing a simulated game at Wrigley Field on Friday.The season of Peoria continues.
