Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 23, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 48-47; 4th National League Central): The Brewers were off on Thursday.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 54-44; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 5-1 at Memphis. The Redbirds were up 5-0 after three innings.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 50-47 overall, 12-16 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 8-4 to Carolina. The Mudcats went up with three runs in the third inning and held the lead the rest of the way.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 57-32 overall, 17-8 second half; 1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees won 5-4 over St. Lucie. Brevard County scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to rally back for the win. Caleb Gindl hit a solo homer during the rally.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 16-12; 1st Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Great Falls 7-5 and banged out 13 hits.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 12-14; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers were off on Thursday.
