Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 26, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 49-49; 4th National League Central): The Brewers lost 10-2 to the Braves at Miller Park. Atlanta scored nine runs over the final four innings.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 55-46; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 11-1 at Oklahoma City. The RedHawks scored six times in the third inning off Chris Cody.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 51-48 overall, 13-17 second half; T-3rd Southern League North Division): The Stars were off on Sunday.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 58-33 overall, 18-9 second half; T-1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Fort Myers 8-4. Dan Merklinger (’09) allowed four runs on five hits over five innings to get the win in his Florida State League debut.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 16-15; 3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 5-3 at Great Falls. The Voyagers broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 12-17; 0-1 second half; T-4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 6-2 to the Giants.
