Complete scoreboard
Dayton 9 @ Wisconsin 4: The night may have been just what the doctor ordered for Komatsu, but there was frustration to go around for the Timber Rattlers.
Fort Wayne 3 @ Kane County 0 (10 innings): A.J. Huttenlocker was called on to pitch the tenth in his first night as a Cougar. Adam Zornes doubled and drove in Yefri Carvajal of Fort Wayne for the first run of the game on a close call at the plate. Huttenlocker finished the night with a total of three earned runs on four hits in an inning of work.
@Beloit 2, Cedar Rapids 1 (10 innings): “When I was coming up on third base, I saw Nellie sending me home and I was, like, whoa, are you kidding me?,” Morales said. “I didn’t know the catcher dropped it until I scored. It was a weird play.”
Lansing 6 @Peoria 2: Henderson Alvarez has saved his best this season for the Peoria Chiefs.
South Bend 10 @Clinton 2: When facing a team that has struggled all season to score runs, it’s not a good idea to give them a big inning early on. That’s what happened Wednesday night at Alliant Energy Field.
West Michigan 4 @Quad Cities 0: In the first 5 minutes Wednesday night at Modern Woodmen Park, West Michigan did enough to secure a 4-0 victory over the Quad-Cities River Bandits.
Great Lakes @ Burlington: PPD
