Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 27

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 49-50; 4th National League Central): The Brewers lost 14-6 to Washington. Josh Willingham hit a pair of grand slams for the Nationals.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 55-47; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 6-4 at Oklahoma City. Nashville scored three runs in the first inning, but could not hang on to the early lead.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 52-48 overall, 14-17 second half; T-3rd Southern League North Division): The Stars won 8-3 at Montgomery. Taylor Green (’09) and Lorenzo Cain (’09) both had homers for Huntsville.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 58-34 overall, 18-10 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 1-0 at Fort Myers. Brevard County had nine hits, but got shutout by the Miracle.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 16-16; 3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 11-6 at Missoula. The Osprey scored six times in the bottom of the fourth inning to go in front 9-2.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 12-18; 0-2 second half; T-4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 7-2 to the Angels.
