Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 25, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 49-48; 4th National League Central): The Brewers beat Atlanta 4-0. Yovani Gallardo pitched 7-1/3 shutout innings, allowed four hits, and struck out six for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 55-45; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 8-5 at Oklahoma City. Alcides Escobar went 5-for-5, scored two runs, and drove in one for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 51-48 overall, 13-17 second half; T-3rd Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Carolina 4-1. Jonathon Lucroy knocked in a pair of runs for Huntsville.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 57-33 overall, 17-9 second half; 1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees were rained out at St. Lucie. The game will not be made up as it is the last time the Mets and Manatees were to meet.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 16-14; T-2nd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 10-9 in eleven innings at Great Falls. Helena scored five times in the top of the tenth. The Voyagers tied the game with five runs in the bottom of the tenth and won the game with a run in the eleventh.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 12-16; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers lost 9-4 to the Athletics.
