Brewers System Report: Games of May 3, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 10-15; National League Central): The Brewers were off on Monday.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 16-7; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 8-3 at Round Rock. Nashville led 3-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, but the Express scored twice in the sixth, three times in the seventh, and twice more in the eighth.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 15-10; Southern League North Division): The Stars swept a doubleheader at Birmingham. In game one, Huntsville scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning and beat the Barons 5-4. In game two, the Stars scored twice in the top of the seventh to beat Birmingham 4-3.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 10-14 overall; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 3-1 to Clearwater. Cody Scarpetta (’09) allowed a run on five hits and struck out seven over 6-1/3 innings, but was not involved in the decision. Juan Carlos Ramirez (’08) allowed one run on four hits and struck out seven over seven innings for Threshers and got the win.
