Photi Anthony was 4-for-5 with three runs and four RBI. The Foxes put the game away in the third inning with seven runs. Charles Johnson and Cal Ripken, Sr. both homered in the third.
John Papa was the winning pitcher with a complete game. He walked seven and struck out four.
The Foxes are 9-10 and in 5th place in the Three-I League. Sioux City has a 4.5 game lead on Fox Cities.

Gary Kanwisher threw a complete game, struck out nine, and moved his record to 5-0. The Foxes did not get their first hit until the seventh inning.
Appleton did get a runner to third with one out in the top of the ninth inning, but they could not score.
Appleton starting pitcher Chris Jefts left the game after the first inning. He allowed two unearned runs on three hits and one walk. Is he hurt? Is he okay? What was his velocity?
The Foxes are 25-13 and trail first place Madison by 1.5 games.
